Since its formation in 1972 the Brodsky Quartet has performed over 2000 concerts on the major stages of the world and released more than fifty recordings. The quartet currently holds the International Chair of Chamber Music at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
This evening, Korngold’s ravishing second quartet and Beethoven’s magnificent Op 132 take their place alongside Schubert’s Quartettsatz, the opening movement to his incomplete 12th string quartet.
